WHO WE ARE

The Friends of the Centreville Regional Library (FCRL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of the Centreville Regional Library.

WHAT WE DO

Our goal is to encourage and expand the use of the library resources, services and facilities for cultural and community development to support literacy and education.

The money we raise through book sales and donations is used to support and/or sponsor programs of interest and services that are relevant to our local community through the Centreville Regional Library.

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) is exploring building a new Centreville Regional Library together with affordable housing to support people who live in Western Fairfax County.

The project could be built through a partnership with a private developer and may include new homes and an updated library in one building, with features for residents and the Centreville community.

The first community meeting to discuss this project and to solicit feedback will be on Thursday, April 30th from 6-7:30 pm at the Centreville United Methodist Church.
